St Louis to Sioux Falls, South Dakota

This is the second day.  I drove from St Louis to Sioux Falls in about 11 hours.  It took a while because I stopped in Kansas City, Omaha, and Sioux City on the way.  

After passing through Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota I realized that the USA is full of corn, a LOT of corn.  Though this leg of the journey was flat and fairly similar in appearance, it was beautiful.  I never thought corn would do that to me. 

After some deliberation with two trusted friends in D.C. I decided to name the VW "Loretta."  Loretta and I have come a long way together, but I don't think she realizes that I'm leaving her once we get to Montana.  I'm sure there is a country song about this somewhere.
Anyway, here is what I saw today.

I LOVE CORN!!!!! corn galore! i love adam! adam galore! loretta galore. i dont know if i love loretta, i could, i suppose.

honestly adam, these are amazing pictures.
my favorite would be the corn-lined driveway. your focus in it is awe-some.

i agree with heather. my fave is the corn'lined road with the corn on the left of the road. i also really like the wind mill one a WHOLE lot dude.
